Char Siu Sauce recipe
Ingredients
| 1⁄4 | c | reduced sodium soy sauce |
| 2 | T | honey |
| 2 | T | sugar |
| 2 | T | dry sherry |
| 1 | t | salt |
| 1 | t | chinese five-spice powder |
| 3 | quarter-size slices fresh ginger |
Instructions
Extracted from a Char Siu Ding (Pork) recipe. Should be tested.
In a pan, combine soy, honey, sugar, sherry, salt, five-spice and ginger.
Heat for one minute to dissolve sugar.
